3D Eyes

3D epoxy eyes are a popular addition in fly tying to create realistic and attractive patterns, especially for predator flies. To use them, first complete the head of the fly using your chosen materials (such as thread, dubbing, or resin). Then, place a small drop of super glue or UV resin on each side of the head and carefully press the 3D eyes into position. Make sure they are aligned properly. If using UV resin, cure it with a UV light for a durable finish. The result is a lifelike appearance that helps trigger strikes from fish.
